Uncle Malcolm was a one off. My earliest memories are visits to Marske, him and Dad sitting in the heather on the Moor having a picnic with everything put in the washing basket. He was there for us when Dad died suddenly in 1974, supporting, organising and planning. He gave me away when I married in 1981. We lost Mum in 1999 and again he was a great support. He’s just always been there and I will miss him.
